Thank you to all of the parents who allow us to photograph their precious newborn babies. It is such a special, and fleeting time in your child's life. Babies change so much in their first year of life, and so much in just their first few months! Having these newborn portraits will mark that time at just how new, sweet, and precious they look. Captured forever! This little one happens to be the newest member of our family! We are so blessed.
Even though it is the middle of summer it is time to start thinking about pictures with Santa! Every year we book early for these very limited sessions.
Our sessions are very unique in that your children will get to spend some real quality time with Santa while we gather priceless moments in pictures of your child/children with Santa.
More information about this year's session will be coming out in August. If you would like to be on our mailing list to get the first chance to book sign up HERE.
We offer outdoor and studio portrait sessions for high school seniors. We strive to make sessions fun, and stress free for seniors and families. We are located in the heart of Warrenton, Virginia. Contact us HERE for more information.
Photographing high school seniors is another favorite for us, and this young lady here even more so as we have been taking her pictures since she was just a little girl, but more on that in another post one day. The high school senior year marks a huge milestone in your child's life. The senior year is a busy one, fun one, sometimes stressful one, and overall an exciting one as they anticipate what the future holds. Part of the busyness of this year is carving out the time to get senior portraits made....and we love it! We strive to make it fun, and very perfectly yours. A consultation session helps to plan and make sure that we get the best pictures that we can for this very special year.
My home studio is perfect for newborn portraits, and I love having families here for this special occasion. I have lots of things newborn to help you style your newborn portrait session. The best part though is picture day when the new family member comes in for their first portraits. Newborns are so very sweet, and they change so very fast! We encourage clients to come in sometime during the first month for their baby's portrait session. This sweet little fella was a dream and his family were lots of fun as well. I am sure big brother is going to be quite the helper! :)
The sweetest pictures I have ever seen are of little newborn babies. I am lucky that I get to have these tiny new humans in my studio for their first portrait session, and naturally their families join in on the fun as well! My studio is perfect for these types of sessions with lots of things to choose from to make the session perfectly yours!
I really enjoy photographing expecting mothers as there is just something very special about this moment in our lives. We are forever changed when we bring children into the world and for the better I think! Maternity portraits are one of my favorite sessions to capture for families to mark this occasion. And the simplicity of a black and white photograph can speak volumes.
In my last blog I wrote about this little guy when we did his newborn photo session and how his parents are big HP fans. Well, for his first birthday they wanted to do a Harry Potter inspired session for him, and brought along items to include in his photo session. We had a blast getting pictures of him and his big brother (who we also photographed as a newborn and a one year old---baseball themed!).
At the end we did a cake smash for him and he absolutely loved getting into that cake! If you would like to see other examples of our newborn and one year sessions you can see pictures in this gallery.
Senior portraits are one of our favorite photo sessions to do. It is an exciting time in their lives as they get ready to embark on new life adventures. We enjoy chatting with them as we collect pictures to mark the occasion in their life. Before the session we have a conversation to plan for picture day. We invite seniors to make their session their own by bringing along items that reflect what they like or part of who they are. This young man played his saxophone to Amazing Grace for us during the session....a bonus for us. We enjoyed our time with him immensely and hope that his future plans come to fruition.
I can't believe that she is almost grown up! We have been photographing this charming young lady since she was about 4 years old! Time slow down! One thing I love about my "job"--don't like calling it that, is that we get the opportunity to have people come back to us time and again. This is so much appreciated, and I am thankful that they trust us to capture moments in their kid's life, and the family too! We offer portrait sessions for individuals, teens, seniors, families, newborns, expecting moms, and yes sometimes an occasional pet! We love it all!
And one more thing about Evie, she shared with me that her brother got her that bracelet for her sixteenth birthday. How sweet is that!?!
