We recently traveled to Oklahoma to photograph our nephew, Clayton marry his girl! We had such a great time being with family, and meeting newest members to our family. Emily and Clayton decided to get married at a place that is very special to Emily as she grew up here. What a beautiful setting for a most beautiful wedding! Tucked away in the Oklahoma hills Salyer Lake Retreat and Conference Center was gorgeous with picturesque views everywhere you turned. I can see why they wanted to get married here. It was kinda hard taking pictures sometimes (those tears get in the way), but gosh I am so glad that we were able to be there AND be their photographers! Here are a few pictures from their very special wedding day. Did I tell you that they sang to one another during the ceremony....crying!! Oh my....I will remember this one for a long while.

We are up to something good in our studio! Santa Sessions for your children that will create a fun and lasting memory. Parent have told us that their children talk about their experience with us for weeks.
Our Santa sessions are approximately two hours long allowing ample time for the kids to have fun as we gather wonderful moments of them interacting with Santa.
The artwork created from these heirloom sessions will be enjoyed for generations to come.
Get in touch to learn more about these very unique sessions. We would love to plan one for you!
We always enjoy working with high school seniors, and strive to give great portraits that reflect their personality as well as their interests. This young man enjoys the trumpet, and plays for his church. Best wishes to you Derrick in your senior year and going forward!

This little miss has been visiting our studio since she was a newborn. She is just getting sweeter and sweeter all the time. We offer a wonderful baby plan to our newborn clients, and I love it when they decide to take advantage of this wonderful offer. It allows me to get to know the family over a year's time, and I love seeing how these sweet little babies grow in the course of a year. This was her six month session. Next will be nine, and then the one year. It sure has gone by fast!

This sweet family had a great time at the tree farm getting their Christmas Card portraits done. I had fun as well! Nothing like going to a tree farm after a snowfall to get your family portrait made.! Gosh we are so lucky!!

There is nothing more fun than a family portrait at a Christmas Tree Farm after a snowfall! Just in time for a Christmas card. We had a lot of fun with this one.

Brendan and Evie were real troopers to come out in the freezing winter to get some outdoor winter snow portraits. We have some beautiful snowfalls here in the Northern Virginia area, and I am always excited when a family is excited to get their portraits done against a beautiful scene. Just love the portraits that we got from their session.

Newborn babies are about the sweetest thing there is, and I count myself lucky to be able to photograph them. Little Nicholas came to the studio with his family, and we had such a good time. His big brother and sister are pretty awesome, too!

We are excited to offer these very unique portrait sessions to our clients! You can have a wonderful work of art that is sure to become an heirloom, these unique portraits are a blend of realism and impressionistic art. If you would like to know more about this process get in touch today here.

The Hendersons were a blast to photograph. They are a lighthearted bunch, and I loved watching them all interact with each other, and I just had to get in on it a bit as well! What fun! AND, I know that these parents are extremely proud of their two children. They both have decided to serve, and I thank them for their service as well. These kid's parents are in service to the community as well....Broad Run Baptist Church here in Fauquier County, VA. Thank you for being a light to others!
