Family Portrait Session | Whetstone Family | Warrenton Virginia Family Photographer

We had great fun planning this photo session with the Whetstone Family. In this family everyone comes together not too often as families are scattered across the USA because of careers, and such. So getting their pictures all made together was very important to them, and we took it seriously, and made it fun at the same time. Basically, we wanted to do a good job for them.
 
The session was planned to take place at their home which I thought was a neat idea. It doesn't get more intimate than your home environment. We had our daughter's senior pictures made at our home, and they are some of my most cherished portraits of her, because I knew they were taken at our home.
 
This was a great photo session. We photographed them whole family group, and then individual families, and then the kids. I love photographing kids! These two little guys were a hoot! It's amazing the kind of pictures you can get when you just interact with the kids and let them play! You gotta work fast, though! Kids will let you know quicker than any adult that they have had enough of this picture taking thing! So we work fast while they have fun, and we have fun too!
 
I will have to say that the adults had their fun "play time"  as we finished up the session with some AWESOME pool table portraits, and had a few laughs in the process. I love it!
