Family portraits with pets is always fun, and sometimes can be a little challenging! Dogs wanna play, and when you get down on the ground on their level, well they just think you are inviting them to roll around in the grass! These pups and their humans were great! And the pups would agree that their humans were very well behaved! :)

Family portraits are very important to me, and I am happy that clients see the importance of them as well. As time goes on and kids grow you can always look back on your family pictures to remember just how your loved ones looked, or it can even take you back to that very day and help you remember some of the details of the day. We strive to offer a fun and relaxed family portrait session, and in doing so it helps to bring about genuine expression and smiles as a family interact with one another. Just love it! I have been photographing this family since these kids were very little! Gosh, how much they have changed in just a few short years! Another reason to get a family portrait done from time to time!

We had quite a few Christmas time babies come to the studio this past December, and this sweet little girl was one of them. She also has very sweet parents, and I just loved how they were loving on their little newborn daughter. We had a wonderful time! Before leaving they gave me a gift of some sweets to celebrate the birth of their daughter! I was just so surprised! Naturally, I just had to send them home with some of our home-made Christmas treats as well. Not only do I have the best job photographing these sweet little babies, I also get to know their parents a little, and I just love the friendliness and kindness that comes with it....best job ever!

One year portraits are a lot of fun and especially when we get to do a cake smash with them! This sweet little baby girl had her newborn portraits done with us, and now here we are celebrating her first year! It goes so fast.

Spring and summer are right around the corner, and a great time to get outside for children's portraits. This past summer we photographed this little sweetie to mark her first birthday.
