We love taking children's portraits! Our small in home portrait studio makes it quite comfortable and welcoming for kids and their families. This was a fun day for these two. We were blessed to photograph the little guy when he was born, and also their cousins! Just loving it! Now, if we can get them here for one of our exclusive Santa Sessions that would be great!

We adore this sweet family! We are so blessed and thankful that some of our clients come back to us time and again. We have had the pleasure of photographing their children and the parents since their firstborn. It is amazing to watch these families grow, and see their children thrive. And naturally, we just love capturing memories for them. Family pictures times are important. When these kids are adults they will have these moments in time to look back upon, and I am glad that we could be a part of helping them do this!

Senior portraits are one of our favorite photo sessions to do. It is an exciting time in their lives as they get ready to embark on new life adventures. We enjoy chatting with them as we collect pictures to mark the occasion in their life. Before the session we have a conversation to plan for picture day. We invite seniors to make their session their own by bringing along items that reflect what they like or part of who they are. This young man played his guitar for us during the session....a bonus for us. We enjoyed our time with him immensely and hope that his future plans come to fruition.

Spring is in the air and Easter is around the corner! We recently did a studio Easter Photo Session with this little guy. Get in touch here to book a spot for Easter portraits in our studio for your child/children.

We absolutely enjoy working with High School Senior Clients and their families. We invite seniors to bring their suggestions for their photo session to make it uniquely their own, and we have a lot of fun getting the pictures. The seniors are amazing! I just love the portraits from this young lady's session.

In Northern Virginia we usually get s few snowdays over the winter. We like to try and get these fun sessions for families, but it can be a little tricky as most know around here in Warrenton. Everything must fall into place, and usually these sessions are kind of impromptu. For families that are interested we have a conversation and plan for the session. If snow is forecasted then I will start emailing, or calling you to get ready for a possible session! For these two everything fell into place, and we went to the park for a fun (and cold) day of outdoor snow portraits.

This little newborn came with his family for his first portrait session. Mom and Dad are big Harry Potter fans, and wanted to bring along some special items to include in his portraits. After getting his "formal" newborn portraits we played a bit and got these for the parents. They turned out so cute. The Harry Potter movies have endured time, and we continue to watch them today whenever they come on tv. I will have to admit that I like the early years the best as the storyline does get darker as time goes on, but hey....good always triumphs over evil in the end, so it's all good! haha! My thought is, "will this little guy be a HP fan, or will he say, "mom and dad, these movies are so dorky (or whatever the catch phrase of the day is for them, and I am sure it won't be "dorky"). I know that is what happened when my kids were old enough for me to share my childhood favorites with them when they were old enough....oh well...time and progress...and the next great blockbuster classic awaits our future!

In the years of covid we have had to do some of our newborn and baby photo sessions outside when the weather and time of year permits. I first met this new mother before her little guy was born as she came to my indoor studio for her maternity portraits.
We were able to do his newborn portraits before covid hit, and the rest as you will see is all outdoors, which I think they actually liked better! Anyway, in the course of the year we get to know our parent clients, and enjoy tremendously getting to know them and watch their baby grow.
Our baby plan is a great option to take advantage of as it provides you first of a year in pictures of your baby (they change so much in that first year). And we provide great savings in exclusive discounts and complimentary items for our baby planners.
It is always kinda sad after the 12 month photo session, but some do come back for special portrait sessions like birthdays, and of course our Santa Sessions. We really love it when we get to visit with past clients from time to time, and are happy that they trust us to capture these moments for them.

We really enjoyed having Pastor Jackson and his wife visiting our studio for a portrait session. His church family presented them with a gift certificate to come to our studio and sit for a portrait session. While visiting with us we got to learn a little about their church, which is under expansion right now--a great thing!, and a little about their family.
It was such a pleasure having them here and sharing some smiles on and off camera! I count these times as blessings myself! I love my job. And if you are interested in finding a church home perhaps you would want to pay them a visit at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, VA.
